Research Interests

  • Working on Natural Product Research for their:
  • • Pharmacological evaluation of medicinal plants and natural products for their effectiveness in gut, airways and cardiovascular disorders. Multiple in-vivo and in-vitro studies we conduct in laboratory animals like rabbits, guinea-pigs, rats and mice.
  • • In the in-vitro setup, experimentswe conduct on smooth muscles of isolated tissues such as; jejunum, ileum, trachea, aorta and atria while the in-vivo studies include prokinetic, laxative, antidiarrheal, bronchodilatory and antihypertensive.
  • • Pharmacological activities include; Calcium channel blocking, Potassium channel activation, Cholinergic, Anticholinergic, Histaminergic, Phosphodiesterase enzyme inhibition, α1-receptor blocking.
