  • 2002: Maîtrise: Faculty of Science, Univeristy of Sfax (FSS), USS. Major: Computer Science.

  • 2016: Full graduate studies ("Habilitation"): University of Sfax-Tunisia (USS). Major: Computer Science & Engineering. Title: Towards an unified framework for the combinatorial optimization problems.

  • 2008: Doctoral thesis: University of Valenciennes and Hainaut Cambrésis-France (UVHC) & USS. Major: Computer Science & Engineering. Title: Heuristics for the selective vehicle routing problem.

  • 2003: Master: UVHC. Major: Computer Science & Automation. Title: The multicolored Travelling Salesman Problem.

Research Interests

  • My research activities are in the general area of artificial intelligence and combinatorial optimization. They are mainly focused on: (i) Designing efficient algorithms for solving combinatorial optimization problems, (ii) Developing mathematical models for complex systems, (iii) Developing solution procedures using Heuristics, Meta-Heuristics, Math-Heuristics, Hyper-Heuristics (Machine Learning) and Exact Algorithms, (iv) Hybridization and enhancement of the standard optimization techniques by machine learning technologies, (v) Focusing on providing efficient and effective managerial decisions in logistics, (vi) Solving combinatorial problems in different domains such as Cloud Computing, Logistic & Transportation, (vii) Manufacturing Production Process, Resource Management, etc. The resulted research is basic and applied oriented and appeared in scientific journals of computer science.
