Research Interests

  • Conducting multi-step organic synthesis of biologically important thiosemicarbazones
  • Identified and characterized the target compounds by several spectroscopic techniques such as NMR, ESR, IR and UV/VIS/NIR
  • Measured the magnetic susceptibility and molar conductivity of metal complexes
  • Determined the concentration of transition metal ions in solution spectrophotometerically
  • Performed thermal gravimetric analysis on metal ion complexes of thiosemicarbazones
  • Studying the electrochemical behavior ( Cyclic Voltammetry) of the organic ligands and their metal complexes
  • Maintained laboratory equipment and adhered to standard laboratory safety procedures
