Education

  • Professor Zainab M. Almutairi is a distinguished academic and higher education leader with over two decades of experience in teaching, research, and university administration. Research Interests

  • Professor Zainab M. Almutairi has over two decades of experience in university teaching, academic leadership, and educational development. Throughout her career at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, she has taught a wide range of courses in molecular biology, genetics, and biotechnology, integrating innovative teaching methods and technology-enhanced learning. She has extensive experience serving on and leading numerous university committees since 2012 that support academic governance, quality assurance, and institutional development. Her service spans committees focused on student affairs, quality enhancement, academic leadership, curriculum and course review, scholarship and training, and talented student development during 2021-2023. She has been Chairman and Vice Chairman of key standing committees at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University during 2023-2025, including those for knowledge sources, graduate qualification and employment and E-learning and distance education.
  • She is an experienced academic trainer specializing in e-learning, leadership development, and quality assurance in higher education. Since 2019, she has designed and delivered numerous training programs for university faculty at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, focusing on digital teaching methods, assessment strategies, and academic leadership.
