  • Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.): 2004 (Cytogenetics and Molecular Genetics analysis), Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University), New Delhi, INDIA. Master Degree: (1999) Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, INDIA. Bachelor Degree: (1997) Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, INDIA.

Research Interests

  • Dr Mohammad Shahid is an experienced molecular geneticist/cytogeneticist, having worked in a variety of research and academic organizations. He was awarded the senior research fellowship from Indian Council of Medical Research to pursue the research and his PhD (after completing a Master degree), Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University), New Delhi, India. His PhD focused on the cytogenetic and molecular genetic studies aspects of female infertility and the work was published in peer reviewed/high impact factor journals as first author. He was awarded the Young Scientist Research Fellowship from Department of Sciences and Technology (DST) to continue the research after completing his PhD. He has published more than 32 research papers in international peer-reviewed journals.
