الاهتمامات البحثية

  • My current study focuses on the green chemistry approach to the organic molecule synthesis in order to reduce waste and increase the practical yield of desired substances. In the context of green chemistry, the synthesis of target chemicals was carried out using recyclable heterogeneous catalysts, deep eutectic solvents, and other environmentally friendly solvents. Docking studies, QSAR, and a variety of biological functions are also tested on newly synthesized compounds.
  • I am the principal technician to handle the 400 MHz NMR (Bruker), and ATR. Last but not least preparation and application of carbon dots in organic synthesis is my current pilot project and considered as future prospects particularly for the synthesis of organic compounds. We have submitted two patent related to the preparation of carbon dots from waste materials.
