I have more than six years of administrative experience as head of the department, Department of Pharmaceutics. I worked as Academic Coordinator and looked after academic activities in the department, like, course development, faculty load distribution, course alignment, laboratory and lecture time table, and conduction of internal evaluations.
My areas of teaching interests include dosage form design, drug delivery systems, Industrial pharmacy and sterile dosage forms like parenteral and ophthalmic products.

My research intrest includes-
-Development and formulation of drug delivery systems for poorly soluble drugs
-Physicochemical characterization of drugs and formulations using UV, FTIR, DSC, etc
- Analytical and bioanalytical method developments and validation of techniques such as UV, HPLC.
- Quantitative assay / evaluations of drugs and formulations in matrix and plasma by HPLC.
-Physicochemical modifications of drugs
-In vitro characterizations of drugs and dosage forms using DISSOLUTION, DISINTEGRATION, DIFFUSION, PERMEATION, PARICLE SIZE ESTIMATION.
-Pharmacokinetics and BIOAVAIILABILITY estimations.
-Solubility enhancement techniques such as cyclodextrin complexation, solid dispersions, micronization, nanonization, and energyless microemulsion formation are employed for several poorly soluble drugs.
I am also supervising research projects for graduate students in the area of pharmaceutical drug delivery systems
I have completed various research projects funded by deanship of research at the university.
