  • My major research interests focuses on Drug resistance in Gram positive and Gram-negative bacteria especially Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Klebsiella pneumoniae, Acinetobacter baumannii, MRSA, VRE which are the potent pathogens that causes high burden in nosocomial settings.
  • The various aspects research interest includes: identification and characterization of resistance plasmids, genomics of resistance, molecular mechanisms that lead to the dissemination of the resistance genes and silencing of antibiotic resistance genes.
