Education

  • B.ed.

  • M.A. (English Literature)

  • 1. Ph.D. in English Literature, (American Fiction),

Research Interests

  • Literature is my passion. My primary interest is fiction, particularly modern American and British writing. I prefer modern literature because it is feminized, and I enjoy teaching feminism. I also enjoy teaching poetry, both American and British, from the classical to the modern eras, because it is something I am passionate about and compose myself. Throughout my career, I've taught drama, criticism, essays, and a variety of other genres. In addition, language and linguistics are two of my most recent areas of interest, as well as the focus of my most recent research. As a lifelong learner, though, I am excited to understand all of the new things that are brought to me and to collaborate with my pupils on them.

Experience

  • 2007 - 2010 - Assistant Professor - T.K.S.M. PG College, Rankhandi
  • 2002 - 2007 - Lecturer - T.K.S.M.Pg College, Rankhandi
  • 2010 - until now - Assistant Professor - Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University

Responsibilities

  • It has been a pleasure leading the department since 2021, overseeing all of its operations, collaborating with other units and departments, and helping students with academic concerns. Additionally, the department's and its members' work schedules and workloads are determined. Since 2018, I have been a part of the college's judicial committee. In addition to chairing the examination committee, the student affairs committee, the academic advising committee, the sports unit, the social and cultural activities unit, the graduation unit, and the quality unit during my tenure as head of the girls' section, I also helped it achieve its full potential.
